Lifting Bridge

Another Ped bridge that raises to let ships past. This one's in Manchester and looks so elegent I didn't realise it was a lifting bridge when I took this in 2003. It's near the Imperial War Museum designed by Daniel Libeskind and crosses the Manchester Ship Canal.
