This local ped bridge doesn't lift and don't go anywhere much, but its pretty, and tells the time.

Millenium Bridge
This is the very elegant and practical bridge in Newcastle, linking it with Gateshead accross the River Tyne. The photo is taken from "The Baltic" a converted wearhouse, now an exciting art gallery.
