Budapest: Very nice bike/ped path along the river.
Budapest: The river bike path connects to this contra-flow bike path striped on the sidewalk.
Budapest: A bike lane, which American planners would consider to be on the wrong side of the parked cars.

Budapest: One of the largest (and most ornate) synagogues in the world, includes a Holocaust memorial and other exhibits.
Following the river north out of Budapest, there were a few stretches of highway leaving the city that were not that fun to bike, but on the whole it was a good day of riding. I encountered what appeared to be a defunct bicycle ferry.
Ergstrom.
This abandoned factory was a remnant of the old communist regime.
The border crossing into Austria had a separate route for bicycles (and other slower moving vehices). I had intended to ride into Slovakia but one of the fasteners on my Ortleib paniers broke. I figured I would have more luck finding a replacement in Vienna so I went there instead.
